March, 2011 Public invited to view plans for new Rugby Health & Wellbeing Centre
Plans for the proposed new medical centre for 95 Clifton Road Surgery will be held at a public consultation event at the Rugby Town Hall. Members of the public are encouraged to attend the event being held on Monday 21st March 2011 between 2pm and 6pm.
The new centre will be developed by GPI a leading specialist developer and investor of purpose built primary care premises. The scheme will provide a better healthcare experience for patients and the local community and offers a centralised location for the doctors and staff to provide much improved services to their patients. It includes nine consulting rooms, three multi purpose clinical rooms, two treatment rooms, a minor operations suite plus associated support areas and pharmacy, in addition as part of the development GPI is providing a community hall for local groups to use under the guidance of the Council. The proposed location for the new surgery is on the former Cattle Market site on Railway Terrace and forms part of the re-generation of the area.
