Construction at Southgate brings Crawley total to 4
With construction work already under way at Gossops Green, Ifield and Langley Green, GPI are pleased to add the Southgate Primary Care Centre to its list of projects on site in Crawley.
This 1,300 sq metre surgery will replace the current surgery premises operating out of a former residential building that is now too small to handle current and future population growth. GPI have been working with NHS West Sussex and the doctors to create a design that is flexible, sustainable and in line with NHS "Value for Money".
The new facility will provide enhanced patient care for the locality, with increased services available at community level from GPs, including minor surgery and a significant improvement in the environment within which these services are delivered. The accommodation will also benefit from compliance with current design standards and guidance and provide enhanced access to all patients fit for the provision of Primary Care in the 21st Century.
An integrated new pharmacy will also be provided as part of the development.
