"A new medical centre had for such a long time seemed to be just a dream, until in December last year when GPI handed over our beautiful new spacious and modern building to us.

From the start we were faced with problems and frustrating challenges but with much hard work, and commitment from the Practice, James Totty Architects and GPI we are now working in an environment that is a pleasure to work in.  Credit also has to be given to the construction company Wildgoose who worked efficiently throughout and were able to bring forward the completion date by almost a month.

Feedback from both staff and patients could only have been positive with one patient saying this week that “it is something of which everyone can be proud”."

"The partners and staff are delighted to have finally taken occupancy of our new medical centre.

There were many obstacles in the way, including the disposal of our existing building and finding a suitable site.  The site search proved very difficult, and eventually involved building on the site of the local football team, who in turn had to be provided with new facilities.

Throughout the process, David Sadler remained totally committed to the project, despite the difficulties.  From almost the moment David came on board, we were confident that he would deliver what GPI promised.

The practice were fully represented at both design and project meetings, and our input was welcomed. 

The development has brought together a range of healthcare professionals who had previously been working from different buildings.  The benefits of being able to work as a complete multidisciplinary team have been beneficial for all.  The building has not only provided us with a modern state of the art building, but has had a tremendous boost for staff morale, with a number of members of staff commenting about how they look forward to coming to work!
